Create Your Account

BitPredict is an institutional-grade algorithmic trading platform. Before diving into strategies and data, you need an account and a plan that fits your goals.

  1. 1Visit app.bitpredict.ai and click Sign Up
  2. 2Enter your email and choose a strong password
  3. 3Verify your email address — check your inbox for the confirmation link
  4. 4On first login, you'll see your dashboard. Explore the sidebar to orient yourself
  5. 5Review your plan in Settings → Subscription. The Free plan gives full access to browse data and strategies; credits are required for compute actions like backtesting

Start on the Free plan. You get full read access to all data, strategies, and analytics. Only upgrade when you're ready to run backtests or activate strategies.

02

Explore the Data

BitPredict's edge starts with its data layer — 15+ proprietary bar types, AI regime labels embedded at every bar, and 50+ on-chain metrics for Bitcoin. Understanding this data is the foundation for everything else.

  1. 1Go to Data → Market Data Explorer in the left sidebar
  2. 2Select a symbol (BTC/USDT is a good starting point) and choose Time bars
  3. 3Use the date range buttons (7D, 30D, 90D, 1Y) to zoom in and out
  4. 4Notice the bar colors: green = Bull regime, red = Bear, amber = Range, purple = Transition — these are AI-generated regime labels embedded at every bar
  5. 5Try switching to Dollar bars or Volume bars — notice how the structure changes compared to time-based charts
  6. 6Visit Data → Market Regimes for a full breakdown of the current regime: confidence score, probability breakdown, and transition history
  7. 7Visit Data → Data Quality to check the ML Suitability score before using a bar type for model training

Dollar bars normalize price data by traded value rather than time. They often produce cleaner signals for momentum strategies because they contain similar information content per bar regardless of market hours.

03

Find a Strategy

BitPredict maintains hundreds of pre-built, fully transparent live strategies. Every strategy exposes its complete pipeline, trade history, and regime performance — you can inspect everything before trusting it with capital.

  1. 1Go to Strategies in the left sidebar
  2. 2Use the curated leaderboards at the top: Regime Champions, Risk-Adjusted, Top Performers, Lowest Risk
  3. 3Or type a plain-English description in the AI search bar — e.g. "momentum strategy for Bitcoin that works in bull markets"
  4. 4Filter further using the sidebar: symbol, bar type, direction bias, minimum Sharpe ratio, maximum drawdown
  5. 5Click any strategy card to open its detail page
  6. 6Review the 6 tabs: Overview (key metrics), Performance (equity curve, monthly P&L), Pipeline (full signal DAG), Ledger (every trade), Regimes (performance by market state), Trace (signal replay)
  7. 7Star a strategy using the bookmark icon to save it to your favourites for quick access

Always check the Regimes tab before assigning a strategy. A strategy with a great overall Sharpe may only perform well in Bull markets — if you're currently in a Range or Bear regime, its real-world performance will be much weaker.

04

Run a Backtest

A backtest simulates how a strategy would have performed over a historical period. It's your primary tool for validating a strategy before committing capital to it.

  1. 1Go to Backtesting in the left sidebar
  2. 2Select a strategy from the dropdown (or navigate directly from a strategy detail page)
  3. 3Set your starting balance ($10,000 is a sensible default for evaluation)
  4. 4Set leverage to 1× for your first run — understand the strategy behaviour before adding leverage
  5. 5Choose a date range of at least 1 year to get a statistically meaningful sample of trades
  6. 6Leave the risk management parameters (Stop Loss, Take Profit) at their defaults for now
  7. 7Click Run Backtest — this costs 1 credit ($0.10)
  8. 8Review the results: total return %, CAGR, Sharpe ratio, equity curve, and trade list

A good backtest has at least 100 trades. If your date range produces fewer trades than that, extend the range or reconsider the strategy's trade frequency. Few trades means unreliable statistics.

05

Paper Trade It

Before risking real capital, run the strategy in a virtual account. Virtual accounts simulate real-money behaviour using live market signals, giving you a realistic picture of how the strategy performs in current market conditions.

  1. 1Go to Virtual Accounts in the left sidebar
  2. 2Click Create Account
  3. 3Set a starting balance ($10,000 recommended), leverage (start at 1×), position mode (One-way for simplicity), and margin mode (Cross)
  4. 4Click Create, then click Assign Strategy on your new account
  5. 5Pick the strategy you backtested and confirm the assignment
  6. 6The strategy will now execute simulated trades in real time as signals arrive
  7. 7Check back daily — review your simulated balance, open positions, and trade ledger
  8. 8Run the virtual account for at least 2–4 weeks before drawing conclusions

Paper trading reveals things backtesting can't — signal timing, slippage behaviour at real prices, and how you emotionally respond to drawdowns. Use it as your final check before real capital.

Get Alerts

Once a strategy is running, you don't need to watch screens all day. BitPredict delivers every new signal directly to your preferred channel — Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, or Email.

  1. 1Go to Settings → Alerts in the left sidebar
  2. 2Connect your preferred channel — for Telegram: start the BitPredict bot and run /id to get your platform identifier, then paste it in Settings
  3. 3For Discord or Slack: use the OAuth flow to connect your workspace and select a channel
  4. 4Go to Alerts in the left sidebar
  5. 5Click Subscribe on the strategy you want to follow
  6. 6Toggle on the channels you want to receive alerts on
  7. 7Every new signal will now be delivered automatically: signal type (ENTRY/EXIT), direction (LONG/SHORT), symbol, and timestamp

Subscribe to alerts even during paper trading. Reading the alerts in real time builds intuition for how the strategy behaves — you'll understand the signal rhythm before you're executing with real capital.
