Set Up Alerts

Connect Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, or Email and subscribe to strategy signals for real-time notifications.

BitPredict's alert system delivers every new strategy signal to your preferred channel in real time. You don't need to watch a screen — the system notifies you the moment a signal fires. This guide walks through connecting each supported channel.

1

Go to Settings → Alert Channels

You'll see five channel options: Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, and Email.
2

Connect Telegram

Open Telegram on your phone or desktop. Search for the BitPredict bot (name shown in Settings). Start a conversation with the bot and send the command /id. The bot will reply with your platform identifier — a numeric ID. Copy it and paste it into the Telegram field in Settings, then click Save.
3

Connect Discord

Click Connect Discord in Settings. An OAuth window opens. Log into your Discord account, select the server you want to receive alerts in, and choose a channel. Click Authorise. BitPredict will post a test message to confirm the connection.
4

Connect Slack

Click Connect Slack. OAuth window opens. Select your Slack workspace and the channel where you want alerts. Click Allow. A test message confirms the connection.
5

Connect WhatsApp

Follow the QR code linking flow shown in Settings. Scan the QR code with your WhatsApp app to link your number. Note: WhatsApp alerts are delivered via BitPredict's messaging infrastructure.
6

Connect Email

Enter your email address and click Verify. Check your inbox for a confirmation link. Once verified, email alerts will be delivered to that address.
7

Subscribe to a strategy

Go to Alerts in the left sidebar. Find the strategy you want to follow and click Subscribe. Toggle on each channel you want to receive alerts on. You can subscribe to multiple strategies on multiple channels simultaneously.
8

Test your setup

Most channels send a test message on connection. If you've already connected channels and want to test, check the Alert History page — it shows delivery status (sent / failed / pending) per channel per alert.

Set up Telegram as your primary channel — it's the most reliable for real-time notifications and the connection process is the simplest. Discord is ideal if you want alerts visible to a group or team.

Don't subscribe to more strategies than you can act on. Alert fatigue is real — if you're getting 50 alerts per day across 10 strategies, you'll start ignoring them. Start with 2–3 strategies maximum.
